Whether you're a new mum or have been one for some time, we all want what's best for our babies.

We want to keep them healthy, happy and as stress free as possible (keeps parents stress free too!).

A baby’s skin is amazingly soft and delicate. It's almost 30% thinner than adult skin and is also still going through a lot of developing.

Protecting and caring for it can get a little tricky! As their skin is more sensitive & still developing, good ingredients are vital!

We believe that Baby products should not contain any fragrance and that includes avoiding essential oils too!

In our Baby Balm we have used organic plant oils and vegetable waxes rich in nutrients that feed the skin. Envelope your baby's delicate skin in Thistle oil (Safflower oil), Shea butter and Ceramides; a skincare superfood recipe packed with vitamins designed to soothe and enforce the skin's moisture barrier.

Brimming with bio-active compounds, this nurturing balm acts fast to improve the look and feel of skin. Thanks to it's organic and wild crafted natural ingredients (Candelilla wax), this product smells warmly captivating.

Ideal for:

Nappy Rash : Nappy rash typically happens when the delicate skin around your baby’s nappy area becomes irritated. There are many reasons this could happen:

  • Your baby's skin being in contact with wee or poo for a long time
  • The nappy rubbing against your baby's skin
  • Not cleaning the nappy area or changing the nappy often enough
  • Soap, detergent or bubble bath
  • Alcohol-based baby wipes

Clean the area, pat dry and apply the balm gently.

Cradle Cap: Cradle cap is a condition characterised by crusting and white or yellow scales on a baby’s scalp.

Cradle cap isn't contagious, and does not result from poor hygiene. Cradle cap is not itchy or painful and does not bother your baby.

Apply balm gently on the area.

Always seek G.P. help if you are worried or the crusts leak fluid or bleed or the affected areas look swollen.

Dry Skin: Dry skin is a common worry for parents. Peeling or flaking in the first few days after birth is completely normal. Babies don’t really get dirty! so don’t over bathe them. Hard water is also very drying!

Always apply balm to cleansed pat dried skin to lock in moisture.

Thistle Oil, Candelilla Wax, Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil, Cocoa Butter, Sesame Oil, Castor Oil

Benefits of Ingredients

Organic Thistle oil: Moisturises and soothes inflammation. Hugely hydrating. Thistle oil has a very high level of essential fatty acids and positively brimming with ceramides. Ceramides are the cement that maintain the integrity of skin. Good for damaged skin.

Organic Shea butter: especially good for dry damaged skin. Contains phytosterols which stimulate skin to regenerate faster. Good for sensitive skin. Shea butter contains vitamin E, vitamin A, essential fatty acids, and other unique skin healing and strengthening compounds.

Organic Jojoba oil: Jojoba oil is very similar to the skin’s natural oils. Rich in ceramides and omega 9. Absorbed into the skin very quickly and slows down the loss of water from the skin.

Organic Cocoa butter: In order for the body to regrow skin tissue, the skin must be well hydrated. Therefore, cocoa butter's unique ability to lock moisture in at the deeper levels of the skin, plus the fact that it's an excellent emollient, make it particularly beneficial as a treatment for scars. It is so rich in antioxidants that it outrates blueberries!

Vegan Candelilla wax: Candelilla wax is ideal for formulating animal-free, cruelty-free products to naturally shield the skin from harmful environmental stressors. It has anti-inflammatory properties and easily absorbed into the scalp and skin. It nourishes and conditions skin, serving as an effective soother and skin softener that can relieve dehydrated skin.

Organic Sesame oil: Rich in ceramides and essential fatty acids, good for sensitive skin and has a natural SPF factor 4. It also has anti-inflammatory properties.

Organic Castor oil: gives a very good glide for the balm.

FAQ's

  • How long does the product last once opened?

The baby balm should be stored in a cool dark place to protect it. The expiry date will be on the label of the product.

  • How much should you apply?

Scoop a pea sized amount at first. Melt it in your palms/ finger tips first before you apply it on your baby's skin. You can always use more later if needed. A little goes a long way!

  • Can you use this balm for other things - cradle cap, nappy rash?

The beauty of this balm is that it is very versatile and yes it can be used for cradle cap, nappy rash, dry skin.

  • Can you use it straight from birth?

Our baby balm has been tested and certified for use from birth. We were also very mindful of not adding any fragrance at all since baby skin is very delicate and still developing.
